My re-writing services are more than just offering suggested revisions for your existing bio or statement. I will edit your existing document, making all changes needed to help you say what you want to say in the way you want to say it, focusing on editing for grammar, condensed formatting, and the most efficient OR creative use of language, depending on what is appropriate in your particular field. I am also available to compose the bio or statement from information we will gather together, crafting the final piece for your from scratch.

Individual poem critique services focus on an assessment of meaning, use of language and imagery, and relationship between meaning and structure, and provide suggestions for how poem mechanics could be improved to meet the poem’s aims. Manuscript services focus on the order of the poems to achieve a satisfying whole work. (Manuscripts should consist of finished work only — full manuscript critiques are not currently offered.)

From digital images of the work and accompanying details (size, mediums, techniques, etc.), we will discuss your aims for the work and what changes might help the work communicate better. I am also available to consult on what works to include in an exhibit and/or the order for the pieces in the space.

 

Creative Generation Session (online)

An interactive online session to shake up and awaken greater creative potential, whether you are a practicing artist/writer feeling stuck on a project (or between projects), or you have not actively explored your creative talents and want to discover what might be waiting within.

 

Project Organization & Management

I will work with you do clarify and organize a project you are starting OR that is underway. This is available as single intervention appointments, or you can schedule monthly follow-ups to help keep you on track with your project. The goal with both is to help you see the project through to completion, but to also achieve a more satisfying process along the way.

For those wanting to learn to write a poem, compose a professional bio or artist statement, or read cards for themselves, we will work through the basics of your chosen activity, practice the craft, and refine your results.

Card Readings (offered via Zoom or email correspondence)

                           An organic conversation with me and the cards around a topic of your choosing

                           A projection for each month of the year beginning in January or in your birth month

                           At the start of each month, I will pull three cards and email you an interpretation.

 

Tarot Reading Re-view (offered via Zoom or email correspondence)

A second opinion on a reading you feel unclear about. I will discuss your previous interpretation with you and offer my view on the card meanings in positional contexts as well as how they are interacting with one another.   5/card

 

Personal Art Reading

Based on a theme of your choosing, I will pull three cards and create a unique, small-scale artwork based on the reading that will then be mailed to you.   75

 

Events & Parties

I am available for events (regionally only). Service include: card readings, simple printmaking activities, and custom art activities we design together.   (price upon request, based on time and number of participants)
